EMELEE LAW is a founding partner of EFS Group. She holds an MBA from the Paris Graduate School of Management and has more than 15 years of business and corporate experience and knowledge in diverse industries, including Renewable Energies, Energy Efficiency, Banking, Property Construction Development, and Hotel & Services.
Background
Believing that delving into the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency industries would both allow her to contribute to the community, while creating opportunities and wealth, she left the banking sector and served as the Vice President of MK Ince and Associates, a consulting firm within the renewable energy industry (mainly wind and solar). Mk Ince also owns two 10MW wind farms in Ontario, Canada. Emelee led various portfolios including operations and project management, strategies, policies, business development, and investor relations.
Emelee was a member of a team that conducted a nationwide feasibility study on alternative energies in Brunei in 2010/2011. A range of alternative energy sources including Wind (Onshore & Offshore), Solar PV, Hydro, Bio fuels, Wave & Tidal were explored in that study.
Emelee was the former Group CEO and is currently the Chairperson of EFS’s Investment Committee. Under Emelee’s guidance, EFS Group has successfully secured several Renewable Power Purchase Agreements under the Feed-in-Tariff Program in Malaysia to develop, manage, and operate Solar PV assets. Her current focus is to steer the Group to diversify in various portfolios and advance as Southeast Asia’s leading EPCC and Developer in the Large Scale Solar (LSS) and Solar PV self-consumption/Net Energy Metering spaces.
