Darren Tan is the Group CEO & Executive Director. He brings with him comprehensive experience in growth-oriented business development, sales management and leadership with international businesses. His roles include spearheading strategy and business expansion activities in Asia Pacific, as well as corporate communication and investor relations
Background
Darren Tan graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Computer Science) from RMIT University. He kicked off his career in the bustling food and beverage industry in Melbourne, Australia, garnering over ten years of experience in operations and business development. He ran several businesses before starting his own F&B venture, and cashing out in 2014.
For his next challenge, Darren looked to the green industry and sustainability. His first foray into sustainability was through the food industry; Darren ran a business with a sustainable approach to the food chain by usage of ethically sourced and seasonal products.
Darren is passionate about building strong partnerships and teams. He has forged strong relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable energy industry, and he has assembled a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals at EFS. Under Darren’s leadership, EFS has expanded its operations to Thailand, where it now operates as a service provider and asset owner.
